Farewell to a Friend
I've been on the internet since 1999 and have received word that one of my very first online friends has passed away.
This is truly a phenomenal place.
We meet people, we grow together in our understanding, and we feel a real kinship with them... even though we may never meet them in person.
But does that really matter?
After all, what is friendship?

Pat was a very sweet and kind person. She is very missed, but her spirit lives on.

Being an even bigger jerk in real life, with the exception of Mrs. G all my best friends are online.
My condolences to you, and to Pat's family.
Thanks for the nice thoughts. As Johnny wrote, Pat was a very spiritual person and was very ill for the last few years of her life.
She was very cool, too! :-)
